Manifesto Edit Numero Three(point1)

(intro)

(explanation)
We are children of a world where social pressures and cultural expectations condition our youth to a decadence that drains society of its intellectual worth. As a united movement, we view the social norms that society has created for itself as an artistic cripple that we seek to heal.
As the vanguard of our generation, we chose one word to describe us, an egalitarian mindset to lead us, and an oppressed brand of expression as a medium to convey our call for artistic and intellectual freedom, ideals that have either been dormant or nonexistent for far too long.
(purpose)
We are The Movement, a unified front of writers, poets, actors, musicians, filmmakers, thinkers, activists, and most importantly, students. We represent the catalyst that will bring momentum to a world that’s walking much slower than the healthy rate, and the direct confrontation to the war between social conformity and the nonconformity that ultimately becomes conformity itself. We set upon the notion that the arts represent the simple yet complex nature of our lives. Feeling all the more coaxed by agents of the status quo to conform to the bland lives envisioned for us, we strengthen our resolve to fight towards the goals that society frowns upon.

(details on governing style + tangents, etc)

Realizing the potential of our generation in the arena of intellect, The Movement provides a haven for the arts. It establishes a forum for ideas to be expressed and analyzed that could not have otherwise easily been exposed. In doing so, we bring together the aspiring creators of our generation that otherwise would have been alone and unknowing of the other’s existence.
